52 Degrees

Since today is national football day, aka Super Bowl XLIV, I decided that I would post photographs of the one and only NFL game I attended this season. We saw the New York Giants defeat the Oakland Raiders 44-7 in a contest that was all but over after the first quarter. The weather at the Meadowlands was a sunny and pleasant 52 degrees with a slight breeze. The energy of the Giants fans seemed to be lower than other games I had attended. I'm not sure if this was because of the opponent or because the only other games I had been to were division rivals of the Giants. Even though the Raiders were 1-3 coming into this game, they had many more fans at the game than I was expecting. Since this game was so lopsided many of the Giants starters didn't play the second half, and this game became very boring very quickly.

#2 JaMarcus Russell is sacked by a New York Giants Defender.

#10 Eli Manning sets up in the pocket as #99 Greg Ellis tries to fight off a block.

New York Giants wide receiver #12 Steve Smith fights with #57 Ricky Brown and #26 Stanford Routt to recover a fumble.

New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs is tackled by #33 Tyvon Branch and another Oakland Raider Defender after a long run.

Oakland Raiders quaterback, JaMarcus Russell, attempts a short pass as #96 Barry Cofeild just misses knocking the ball down.

A deep pass from Oakland Raider quarterback JaMarcus Russel intended for #18 Louis Murphy falls incomplete.

Thank you for taking the time to view my blog. As always comments, question and suggestions are always welcome. I have several projects planned but could always use some inspiration. If you have anything you would like to see in the NYC area let me know.
